* Clean and pleasant hotel, at just enough distance from the rowdier streets that it's quite peaceful and quiet. * Relatively cheap breakfast, though not too varied or in any way remarkable. * Okay location, Nagoya Station is nearby, though despite the name – Shinkansenguchi – don't expect it to be actually close to the shinkansen gate. It is really quite a bit of a walk. As of the winter of 2023-24 there's some heavy construction going on on the west side of the station, and that makes getting to the hotel a bit complicated. * Good clean laundromats with manually added detergents. Laundry and vending machine room is on 5F.

Room was ok - I got a higher floor room with a great view. Room was compact, but with enough space for 1 person to stay. In-house breakfast was ok, but there is only bread, eggs, and salad with no rice options - still delicious though. The hotel itself has drinks vending machines at level 1, together with an exclusive smoking room. Wifi in the hotel is Wifi-6, I was blazing through the internet without any issues.
